Bolivia day 6-14#

Had some random predicaments that have distracted me from writing. Since I'm already down a week I'll just write everything here for the listed days.

9/22/25

This was my first day of school, I think I was supposed to have an interview with the director but I basically got a high and was sent to class with a notebook. Im not sure iff we are behind on that or something because the director made it clear he wanted something like a meeting but I still haven't been called to the office since then so Im not sure. Anyways as soon as I got to class I was swarmed by everyone. I didn't understand much of what the teachers were saying so it was kind of a blur until lunch where I mostly hung out with the people in my grade. After school I think we relaxed for a bit but then eventually Joaquin and I started using the playstation online with another person from school for at least a hour or so. Also I forgot to mention I had Spanish lessons alone today

9/23/25

We didn't have school today because it was the anniversary of the school or something so we mostly just spent the day recuperating and relaxing. But I did have Spanish classes which weren't super exciting 

9/24/25

We had school today however I think I forgot to mention on prior posts/days that the school has been doing a competitive dance thing or something, so over the course of 2 months they have been practicing and will go against 2 other grades. Today was solely focused on that so I didn't have anything to do for hours and hours. After that they had another rehearsal at like 8:00 which I went over to watch

9/25/25

Today was another normal day of school, again I was swarmed a lot by everyone, less so than from the people in my grade but a lot of it came from the older grades who were friends with the kid from this school who went on exchange. After school I had Spanish classes which were relatively dull as I was the only one in the class with the teacher until the 27th

9/26/25

No school today as I think this was the scheduled competitive dance thing for the younger grades, however there was still a rehearsal at 10:00. After not being in it at all before this they randomly told me I have to carry the Bolivian flag out for part of the dance. There was also some festival thing at the school at like 8:00. I think it was for the dancing that would be happening today and the next. After that I think the day was a bit slower until Joaquin and I used the playstation. 

9/27/25

No school today as it was a Saturday however I did have to take a Spanish test in my rotary class, however it wasn't terribly hard and finally the 2 other exchange students from Santa Cruz have made it back, so I would say overall it was enjoyable. Today was also had the actual competitive dance thing or whatever for people in my grade at like 6:00 to 11:00. I cannot stress how crazy the situation of me randomly joining the dance became. First every grade had a uniform, my grade it was white shoes, baggy white and striped pants, white shirt with stripes, and face paint. This morning they gave me basically white skinny jeans and I had to use my school uniform shirt that also just happened to look white, besides that I also did not have white shoes so I was mismatching everything besides the face paint. I was getting very frustrated with the jeans and knowing I have to sit down in the middle of an outdoor gym in the dance, I did a quick lunge in the room everyone was getting prepped. Unsurprising the jeans immediately ripped which Im glad they did then and not later. At this point they just tole me to go in my blue jeans that were in my backpack and later I got something o my school uniform so I would also be wearing a red shirt instead. They insisted that no one would notice my completely mismatching outfit because of it being dark. First off there were basically stage lights during the dance and hundreds of people watching. Anyways I eventually just say I am good and say I do not want to go up there looking like that. One of the taller teachers proceeds to tell me he lives near by and can grab me something similar at his house, oh and until this the adults and teachers helping with the dance are still trying to stitch my first pair of pants up which I told them multiple times simply couldn't fit. Anyways I did end up doing the flag thing and the dance overall went fine, I think there were 2 other grades we went against and we placed 2nd. I think now would be around 8:30 and I just hung around until the end of the festival thing with everyone else until 11:00 where I was invited to my friends birthday party  which went until around 1:30 in the morning. 

9/28/25

Today everyone was very tired as Joaquin and I were at that party until 1:30 AM and my exchange parents had to sell food at the festival for fundraising until 11:00 PM, so we basically just rested until the next day, decided to start and finish fight club novel today though since I was bored. 

9/29/25 

This was the first day of school I actually had to wear the uniform because all of the dancing is over, classes went fine. I was supposed to use the school buses for the first time today to get to my Spanish classes. That took about a hour and I guess the teacher rescheduled so I didn't even have class until Tuesday, Carlos had to pick me up basically as soon as I got there and realized what happened. So a good 2 hours down the drain. When I got back home Daniela and Joaquin went out to rob him off his French classes so I decided use my kindle again like yesterday and read all tomorrows. After they came back Joaquin and I used the playstation for a hour or so and afterwards I finished the book. 

not sure if my grammar is super messed up but I don't exactly have a bunch of time to look it over right now, my apologies if something is very confusing because of it.
